Rega planar 3 or Project X2? Which is the better turntable?

looking at the Rega planar 3 and Project X2. Which do you goners think is a better turntable?

Never was convinced it was the right way to engineer a high end turntable. Disc Jockeys sure love Technics tables but dont know if they ever had a great reception with Audiophiles.

Do the research. Google "Fremer Technics Caliburn" and "Artisan Fidelity Technics" and "Technics SP10 mk2". For $1700, it will blow away those cheap belt drives.
