Game Changing Tweak


I bought a pair of electrical devices called Electraclear from a company called AddPowr. They're simply plugged into an electrical outlet that's shared by your system. I paid under $300 for them and they've boosted my system's fidelity dramatically. In the 1800's,  a physicist and mathematician, Joseph Fourier, delved into the science of harmonics, and now the founder of AddPowr used these equations to increase the signal to noise ratio. (more signal=less noise) His devices act as harmonic resonators. He worked for a high-end audio cable company before focusing on this new range of products.
   I thought that when I first received the Electraclears, the difference would be subtle. To my surprise and delight, it was a stunning change. I was hearing music from the inside out. Cleaner, more dynamic, and a far greater and noticeable improvement than my power conditioner produces.
   I love finding inexpensive audio devices that work. The company makes other products, but I'd recommend a pair of Electraclears to start.

Thanks millercarbon! When I moved last year, I dealt with an entirely different acoustic/room custom engineered. I did not add acoustical tweaks at first. I started with vibrational tweaks (Stillpoints/Townsend Seismic Sink and Herbie’s tube rings). My friends and I listened. Then we added the SR HFTs. Great, just as in the previous locations as indicated by the SR directions, they worked. Then the front Hallographs, then the rear Hallographs (this took about 8 hours to get adjusted correctly). Then the PPT products. It took awhile, several months, adding even more PPT products than I had in the prior location. Then I discovered that it was a negative addition where there were magnets present. Then I realized that by adding or subtracting certain products I could achieve neutrality across the frequency range with added depth, warmth and openess. So to Jetter, I used my hearing (and seconded by astute friends who are in the business) to make my final adjustments.

I go on the exactly same road, except i create my own improved hallographs ( i dont know the original one except by photo for sure then maybe not improved but that is great increase in S. Q. for me) ...Not bad for a few bucks....I even create my own emat omega tech. before knowing that this product even exist....The "golden plate".... Materials in the 2 are different probably but i put mine on the same locations with success before reading anything about omega tech.... And it works....

My idea are free, low cost and wait to be tried.... It is not attracting much people tough....

Perhaps too much low cost, not so esthetically attracting, and ask for creativity instead of money...

Behind what look like some accidental "tweaks" there is a method of experimental listenings revealing to me the conjugate effects of the triple embeddings of any audio system, then it was easy to create some homemade devices to systematically controls and improve the s.q. coming from the lack of controls in these 3 dimensions....

Then there is NO game changing tweak, because NO tweak solve by itself all the defects in the 3 embeddings at the same time only by itself alone...

There is a method of experimental listenings tough that clear the way for the embedding of any "generic" design components in the "specific" gear, room and house.....


If there is one idea that is important in my discovery of the 3 embeddings experimental listenings, perhaps the least known and totally misunderstood, is beside the PASSIVE room treatment with inert materials, is the ACTIVE room controls with connected different resonators grids and low cost modified Schuman Generators...

This was not a " tweak", the word is not innocuous at all and is suggestive of what some inexperienced people called "snake oil", and the word suggest also some inessential secondary artefact ....

BUT  even a bunch of tweaks is NOT a method....

My method was the result of my experimental listenings , essential to adjust the many parameters of the room and the devices...These device cannot be adjusted by an electronic computer room analysis only....They are not passive materials to be put on some sensible nodes in the room, nodes precisely computed by a program...They are active devices modified by connection cable and stones and crystals which we must link together in synergy with the ears/room/speakers acoustical field feed back....

The ACTIVE room controls gives what most PASSIVE treatment cannot gives by itself alone, except perhaps a dedicated very costly acoustical audio chamber, a relative decoupling of the sound from the speakers and from the obstructive accidents of the room and from his topology and a compensating tool to freed the sound from the load impose by the room.... It was like if the sound now can live in his own dimension and not only in my room.....At low cost indeed....Anyway the mechanical embedding and the electrical embedding and the passive acoustical treatment are also mandatory BEFORE to have the optimal means for adjusting the acoustical parameters of the active acoutical embedding....

The results are so amazing that my modest system (speakers+dac+ amplifier total cost under 500 bucks) will put to shame many costly one not by being better but by being so near them at peanuts costs....You know when you are there when any upgrade while tempting seems ridiculous....

The ears and listening experiments are the only essential tools...And if there is no game changing tweak, there exist a game changing method....

If my post could be useful to one guy they are justified....I apologize for the others....
Isn't it strange how the most important things come in threes: the Trinity, Auguste Comte's three ages of mankind, Olympic medals, etc. etc. etc.
