I listened to it on Qobuz and thought it sounded quite good. I have at least a couple of copies on vinyl and thought this sounded better from memory. I didn't dig out my vinyl and A/B it, I just enjoyed it.

@uberwaltz, ’It’s pretty well known that most Stones albums are fairly dire SQ wise.’ Yes, unfortunately the sound quality only began to improve as the Rolling Stones music got worse. Still, there’s little excuse to compromise the existing quality by squashing it to make it sound like inoffensive background supermarket Muzak. Even if they believe it usually shifts far more units sounding like that. |
