He is not shy in saying this or that version is not so good. Even among high priced audiophile lps. Michael has probably heard every version of every major album. You will learn quite a bit listening to Michael. Don’t discount Mike at the In Groove record store ( he’s on YouTube.). He has some good comparison videos.
