JL Gotham F212 v2 vs ?

This is a pricey but seems to be a high quality well made sub. This is for a future listening space that would be 20x30. For some real power but control is there any other subs to consider at that price point or lower?
Thanks!
EDIT SORRY I meant Gotham V2 (not f212).

Dual Carbon Limited's or dual JL Fathom F112v2's? (and now there is the Carbon Special)  I have a pair of Carbon Limited's and love them.  They integrate with my Revel Salon 2's seamlessly.  I use the high level inputs with wireless RELong Bow (which is nicely built intothe Carbon Limited's.  Everything works great.  Now I want to add similar dual small subs downstairs.  The room is much more bass heavy, and I worry about needing to eq the subs.  Hence the attraction of the JL Audio Fathom V112v2's. I think either choice would be good, but I love the high level inputs and the musicality of the subs...oh totally a two channel music guy, even though I use the system for TV audio output. Don't need wireless downstairs as location is convenient for wires. So, musicality and speed with high level inputs of the Carbon Limited's or Carbon Specials vs said musicality and speed of the Fathom 112v2's with their built in EQ?

^^^^For me, the sub integration in a two channel system...nothing comes close to musicality and simplicity of REL subs.
Don't you guys get tired of the prim and proper audiophiles with their classic 'uhh I think subwoofers are good for home theatre'. Some of them on our discord Sonic Visions. They just don't get it.

*facepalm*
If the guy has never tasted an actual water bagel that was cooked in the early morning and going stale by noon all he knows is he's had a bagel and doesn't care for it.

I don't like those puffed up steamed things they call bagels either.
