Which cd player: New /w Mod or just plain new?

I just can't wait any longer for the mythical final solution. System c/o Jm Lab Mini Utopias, CJ 17ls & Premier 11a. Siltech cables & interconnect. Shunyata power cords. Walker tweaked including Velocitor. Problem is, I believe I'm suffering from a case of paralysis by analysis and am still using my old Musical Fidelity A3. Any Recommendations or advice will be appreciated and considered; including "get a life". Thank you.

That is why research and asking questions is probably your best bet.
Also buy something used that you know will not take a bath on if you don't like it.
If you live in the SoCal area (or within a reasonable radius) feel free to drop by and listen to TRL modified stuff. I don't have the same system as you but that hasn't stopped others from bringing their gear over and spending an afternoon listening.
I'm using a system that is not too dis-similar from yours. JM Labs Mini Utopia speakers, REL Stadium III sub, Herron tube pre amp, Herron Mono amps, Harmonic Technology Magic interconnects and Acoustic Zen Satori speaker cables. I am currently using a ModWright 999ES CD player in my system which I like very much. I was using an older Cary player prior to the ModWright. I like both products. I would check out the new Cary SACD player since I think it would sound great with your system.
Goose-
The Modwright 999ES has gotten excellent reviews by critics and end users across the board.
Have considered trying one myself recently.
What Level mod do you have?
Goose- How did the subs integrate with the Utopias? Have you achieved seemlessness(is that a word)? Are there trade-offs. Are you running your speakers full range. Whats the crossover point? I've been wrestling with this. Also, I'm not convinced that I want to go SACD.
