New power cable for streamer.

I did not think it possible, but when I replaced the stock cable on my Cambridge CXN V2 streamer with a new Audioquest power  cable the difference was startling.  I didn’t imagine a change of cable on a streamer could make any difference at all, but I took a chance.

The new Audioquest power cable worked out so well I bought another one.
‘Question is where to put it?. I have something called a Geerfab DBob digital enhancer. It improves the sound of SACDs and the like.  It works by utilizing my Oppo player’s disc transport. Do I attach the new cable to the DBob or the Oppo? (I really don’t want to buy another cable for both.)
As John Rutan told me:
'Put your best cables on the sources and work down'.

Though it might seem the Geerfab would be next, I would probably go with the Oppo.
Of course, trying it both ways would give you the best answer.

I bought three additional Audioquest power cords, one for my Cyrus CD transport, one for my Rega turntable power supplies and one for the Oppo transport.
‘interesting results.  The transport immediately sounded better, as did the streamer,  the turntable playback sounded dull and the Oppo I’m not sure of yet.
Now I know break-in is a thing, but the preliminary results are intriguing.
@Richard,
I don't think you mentioned which model of cable you bought.

John Rutan told me to start with the sources and work you way down.
He also said that amps are the one component that cables can either sound great or worse.
