Don't know if any of you were aware that Lucinda Williams had a stroke last November and while she didn't incur any brain damage, she's had to relearn things including playing the guitar again. Supposedly out on tour with Jason Isbell this summer?....
Various ‎– Fast Folk Musical Magazine An Evening In Greenwich Village (Fast Folk Musical 1988)

Wonderful collection of lesser-known artists. Sounds great.
Coming up, the first of two I received in the mail today…..

Richard Thompson - 13 Rivers. New West Records 2LP  2018

….I cannot believe how quickly these albums arrive from, of all folks, Target. Lightening fast, and well packaged.
Steve, I didn't know that about Lucinda.  I saw her at an outdoor show at the zoon in Seattle about 2 years ago.  She put on a really good show and had a lot of interesting stories to tell.  I'm glad she's OK.
Chad & Jeremy ‎– I Don’t Want To Lose You Baby (Columbia 1965)

A gentler Beatles. Nice recording notwithstanding a spacious stereo enhancement.
