You should be able to get a good router and use that as an access point. You can plug that into your uverse router and get a better wireless signal independent of all the other stuff on the uverse router's wireless.
Another Node2i Question
I hope this question has not been asked over and over. I’ve been considering getting a Node2i and unfortunately I have no way of going with the Ethernet route and will rely solely on WiFi as my set up is not set up where I have access to a router.
I’m with UVerse so I don’t have crazy mbps numbers. How has running the Node strictly WiFi worked for you? Is even worth messing with without being connected to the router via Ethernet?
Thanks,
Buckheadmac

Mine works well with wifi although I did have some hiccups with my wifi mesh setup allocating enough signal to it at first. That resolved itself through firmware updates to my router I suspect. Now it works well both wired and wifi. Keep an eye out for an announcement about a new version of the Node, next week, I think. https://www.bluesound.com/bignews/?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=organic_infeed&utm_campaign=bignews_teaser&utm_content=image |
