Peter Lederman in Second Bout With COVID-19

There is not much one can do over the internet when people decide that their chosen alternate reality is real despite all the evidence to the contrary one encounters in the real world. Pandemics, elections, vaccines, doesn’t matter until reality intercedes somehow.   Anything to make one feel special I suppose.  Mind games. 

I live in Washington DC. Covid cases peaked at the beginning of 2021. Deaths peaked in May 2020 with a secondary peak at the beginning of 2021. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines became available in Washington DC at the beginning of 2021. Currently 53% of DC residents are fully vaccinated and another 10% have received one dose. The result? Only a handful of cases and no deaths. DC even vaccinates people in their homes if necessary.

@gsm18439 Cheers to another DCer and yes we've done an excellent job with vaccines here I've been fully vaccinated since late March.

aj523, no apologies needed at all. You've simply highlighted some good news. I'm hoping I have some too, 9 weeks now since Soundsmith confirmed arrival of my Straingauge for replacement stylii build and energizer Level 12 upgrade.
