Comparing Two Pairs of Mono's

The Odyssey Stratos Mono Extreme and the Van Alstine DVA 225 are both priced at $3,400 a pair.

Which pair would you choose, and why?

Thank you for your opinions.

They are both just bridged stereo amps, I wouldn’t do either.
Only thing improved is wattage when you bridge a stereo amp, everything else take a hit, especially stability into low impedance speakers.

Go with true monoblocks of something else.
EG: used Parasound Halo JC1 monoblocks and they have high or low Class-A bias for serious or non serious listening.

George,
Good to clarify true mono block amplifiers compared to  bridged stereo amplifiers.  It is a meaningful distinction that some may not be aware of.

I am not very familiar with this brand but Odyssey does cite their mono blocks are stable with a 2 ohm impedance load. Although I don't know the claimed power or current into that low impedance.
