Herbie’s Super Black Holes

How did I live without them? Finally, the veil has been lifted and I can hear the full, rich sound of which I once only dreamed. If only the joy I’m feeling wasn’t being matched, if not overpowered, by my weeping about all the shallow, empty years I endured before St. Herbert set me on the true path.

I  used 2 different devices like that quite a few years ago and they did have a positive effect because they reduce vibrations and therefore reading errors, but the rigid clamping system that Pioneer used in their transports was better still. I still use a PDS 95 uses the system, and it's very good. It makes a lot of sense when you think about it, but the disc plays upside down.

I have a Theta Miles CDP which uses the pioneer platter. it still benefits from better footers. In my case I use my DIY roller block. Might try springs to see if they are better. but the roller blocks are a very good upgrade

Sounds promising. I have some of Herbie's Dots and would like to try the Black Hole.

What CD player are you using it in?
