Black Friday Record Store Day Haul

Happy post Thanksgiving everyone!

Well, today was another BFRSD.  Had lots of fun, love talking "shop" with others.

My haul:

Aerosmith-The Road Starts Here (Cassette)

Blackberry Smoke-STONED (LP)

Canned Heat-Friends In The Can (LP)

Dire Straits-Encores Live (LP)

Fleetwood Mac-Alternative Live (LP)

Todd Rundgren-Healing (LP w/7")

k.d.Lang-All You Can Eat (Colored LP)

Dusty Springfield-Complete Atlantic Singles 1968-1971 (2 LP)

128x128mofimadness

I haven't listened to everything yet, but these are both great

Little Feat - Electrif Lycanthrope

Art Pepper - Promise Kept

I went back and picked up the Johnnie Johnson (Chuck Berry's pianist, this album produced by Keith Richards, with NRBQ members playing on the album), Leonard Cohen, and various artists Americana Railroad titles. The Little Feat was sold out, gotta find it online. Anyone seen it for sale anywhere?

I also bought a few more.  Man, this year's RSD's were expensive (for me).

Norah Jones-Christmas Don't Be Late (3" RSD)

Nancy Wilson-You And Me

Lana Del Ray-Chemtrails Over The Country Club (Colored)

Yes vinyl keeps getting more expensive crazy.

My local Barnes and Noble is cutting back on shelf space, I'll bet the price increases have hurt sales.

Titles that were once in Goodwill $.50 bin are now issued for $25.00

I ordered a couple of leftover releases from the July RSD and the first one I played had a nasty warp.  Not that other new vinyl doesn't have issues sometimes, but it seems like a lot of the RSD releases, especially the color vinyl (this was translucent pink) have issues.

Oscar Peterson from the Black Friday drop should be showing up on my porch today.  I hope that one is good.
