Has anyone heard the new Eric Alexander signature speakers the matrix LS?

Hey missionary man,

If you go to the tekton website it’s presented as a brand new speaker not a speaker for one dude. It doesn’t even say anything about one dude, it’s represented as a new offering by Mr. Eric Alexander.

I am not a shill for tekton. I learned my lesson last year when they made me look like an idiot and sold me a pair of old speakers as if they were brand new speakers that they just came out with. I’ll never buy another one of their speakers again. I thought it was an interesting topic since there doesn’t seem to be many interesting topics on this forum anymore. 

I can attest that Ray is a great Audiogon member. Not that my endorsement means anything but I've done business with Ray and he is a gentleman's gentleman. No shillage....

There is no Tekton shill, it doesn't exist.  There are very excited owners that you should not take very seriously.  You should listen on your own and on your own only.

$18k Tektons?  Stupid AF.  Just absolutely idiotic.  If you are spending that kind of money then you want something that looks somewhat as good as it sounds and that's not Tekton.  

Taking an existing model and upgrading the drivers and then throwing your hat into the mix of people doing rear drivers isn't a good idea for a speaker. It's taken people like Spatial and others many models and years to make a well integrated rear driver model.  Doing one for the hell of it isn't something I would spend $18k on.
