RIP oregonpapa

Today, oregonpapa (Frank) passed away. He will be greatly missed by many of us on Audiogon. I got to know him about a year ago personally, having had many phone calls with him over that time. He was a delightfully kind man, who freely shared his wisdom with others. Bedsides high end audio, , Frank was very knowlegable about world history and politics. Good bye my friend. Jeff

Terrible news for this community. Loved his input. Frank was very passionate about high fidelity and sharing what worked well for him.

My heart goes out to Frank's family and loved ones; he will be sorely missed. I just hope he's listening to even better music now. RIP.

Wow! I was just getting ready to message Frank ( oregonpapa) and saw this thread when my tablet screen lit up. He had left a message about something I had posted. But he left his comment on my system page. Considering the comments, this is somewhat surreal.

RIP Frank. Condolences to his family and friends.
