@reubent Tom, I have the 2nd Stone Roses album on cassette.   One of the relatively few new bands of that era that I had time to enjoy.  I agree with you in that it’s my favorite of theirs.  Thanks for the reminders about them recently.

Jim and Tim, I rarely recommend the Decca. It’s fussy about tonearms. I also think it works best on an idler but that could be my bias. It also works best into a good tube phono amp. My SG has a John Wright fitted Paratrace stylus and a Decapod enhanced body. It’s damn good. But, what do I know? I don’t have a good MC to compare it to. All I know is it makes exquisite music.
