Merry Christmas! In the spirit of the moment, it seems the right time to spin the Ze Records “A Christmas Record” with various artists on the label from 1981 on white vinyl. One notable track is “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses. On the 40th anniversary of this record, Chris Butler recounted the grief the band went through writing and recording the track. What surprised him even more was “Christmas Wrapping” would become their defining song rather than “I Know What Boys Like”. @sbank - Thanks for the kudos from "Mrs. Bent" Tina. BTW, Reubent is actually Reuben T. (Thomas) Turner. That make her..... Tina Turner! She's a lucky woman! |
