TIDAL is calling their files of my songs Masters. But TIDAL’s MQA files are not my masters. I make my masters - not TIDAL. I made my masters the way I wanted them to sound. If TIDAL referred to their titles as TIDAL MASTERS, I would have no problem, but they don’t. They call them Masters. I had my music removed from that platform. They are not my masters.”.

@mapman I do understand the frustration, but minds are no longer changed. Seems like more and more people in this country are only tuned in to information that conforms to their confirmation biases. The winner in these arguments is who can get in the last word, doesn't matter how many times its repeated.
This place sometimes reminds me of how when we were little kids and told another kid they were a dirty bird, no, you're a dirty bird response, put on repeat until both kids shouting in unison.This place getting bad reputation as place for mean spirited, ugly disposition people. If Neil Young wants to (and has the ability) pull his music, more power to him. HOWEVER, Neil recently talked positive about Amazon Hi Rez (I think he gave away some one year subscriptions). What is disappointing about Neil is the following
1. All the controversial quests and authors from Rogan's show all have books being sold where?...Amazon. 2.Lots of Joe Rogan, merchandise, books about Joe, etc...where? AMAZON 3. Amazon has taken Wal-Mart’s place as the "grim reaper" of manual labor for it’s practices.....Where’s Neil’s concern here? 4. Neil is not a stranger to spreading bad science info himself
So my take is there are only two possibilities with what Neil is doing 1. Neil is stupid 2. or, Neil thinks everyone is is stupid
