Ever change your mind?

I put a tube integrated amp up for sale because I bought something else. So after getting a couple nibbles, I thought I better make sure everything is still ok with it since it hadn't been in the system for a couple of months. Wow....it sounds so good. The main reason I wanted to go with something else is because the system was in a smallish room that tended to be hot anyway and the tubes just added too much heat. (I've since moved everything to a much bigger, more open space.)

It's amazing how much bass this thing gets out of my Maggies. I had to check to make sure I didn't plug the subs, Anyway, has anyone else had second thoughts at the last minute? Mostly, I am just trying to recoup some of the cost of the new piece. Not sure if I am trying to talk myself into still selling it or keeping it. LOL

I was getting low-balled on a Jelco tonearm. So I closed the ad. Glad I did. It's now worth double what I paid as the factory closed..

I have had greater remorse over things I have sold than those I had purchased. Like most I was selling to partly offset cost on something else.

Back in '97 or '98 I had a Mesa Baron to try out for a weekend and I was pretty much going to trade my little Cary SLA 70 in for part of the purchase price, but the last thing I did the Sunday night before I was going to close the deal was to hook the little Cary back up & listen to Cowboy Junkies (Sweet Jane) from The Trinity Sessions.  I chose to keep the Cary & not buy the Mesa Baron.
