Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

I’m listening to an old Quintessence LP of Earl Wild playing Rachmaninoff’s 4th Piano Concerto with Jasha Horenstein conducting. Fabulous disc in every way.
‘Those old Quintessence recordings, though cheap, were outstanding.

I love this considering it comes from the guy who turned me on to Balmorhea

@sbank I think maybe I love Balmorhea because I came of age rocking out to music like Foghat, know what I mean?  But last night I had it on loud and the corner speakers let the whole house become the speaker and I was 15 again, sharing my music with the world.

Just arrived,

Joan Shelley "The Spur"

The Smile "A Light For Attracting Attention"

@slaw looking forward to your thoughts on SQ of The Spur. I love the music when streamed. Know anything about the mastering etc?
