Mcintosh MC275 alternatives?

Hello All, I'm considering this unit, not being too familiar with the current crop of tube amps in market at the moment, can anybody recommend alternatives I should be looking at?

Criteria as follows

-North American / European / Japanese made,

-50 watts minimum

-el34 or kt 88

Quicksilver “40 watt Mid Monos. Not pretty but no better amp available.”

Ugly amps need love too

I have owned these amps since early 2015 .  They were only 13 months old when I got them.  I can not say enough good things about Quicksliver in general.  I have Mike’s Headphone amp and that is phenomenal too.  It’s built like a tank and super reliable like all Quicksilver amps

I bought a new preamp last year and it really demonstrated how great they are

Excellent value

Rogue M180 monoblocks. I own the "dark" version, as well as a pair of MC-275 MKVI. The M180’s are more powerful and more transparent. I think they’re one of the best amplifier buys in audio.

The MAC haters hate to hear it but the one dude is right, buy a used MC275 so you can enjoy forever, or a short while and get most of your money back.  Great advice.

That is an interesting, and somewhat incomplete set of criteria--what about price? Why, by the way, those tube types, do you have a large stash of those tubes or are there amps you heard that employ those tubes that you particularly like, and if so, what are they those amps?  If you are not that current with available amps, how did you arrive at the MC 275, and what have you heard and liked or disliked?
