Klipsch speaker placement

Can Klipsch be placed into the room or are they all designed for corner or near wall placement?

thanks, Scott

The only thing I would worry about when pulling out into the room, is being able to sit far enough back to allow the horns to blend. Sounds like you are good to go on that.

@acman3

A good rule is, speakers 1/3 off front wall, listener 1/3 off back wall. If the wife comes down you can always move the speakers out of the way until she leaves.

I understand that but what about Khorns. They have to be in the corner so there sound array is fixed

@tonydennison

Moving the speaker away from the front wall does TWO things. It effects the response of the speaker in the lower midrange/upper bass depending on the distance and it you move them far enough away the first reflection becomes an echo. What you are interpreting as the third dimension is that echo. The third dimension is the realization of the depth of the instruments, a marker of the size of the instrument and there location in space.

Echoes that you produce are distortion 😂😂🤣😅😏

That reminds me of the song by the Doobie Brothers Echoes of love. LOL 😎
