CDP's being dumped for hard drive driven units?

Everybody that's either duped a CD and gave it as a gift, or went to the library and ripped that CD onto their PC.... Raise your hand... or not.

Also anyone that's bought used CDs... Guilty?

Why yes I am. So as Adlai Stevenson so aptly put it, "I believe in the forgiveness of sin, and the redemption of ignorance." as principles are easier to point to than to follow perfectly.

I sold my Audio Research CD3MkII and replaced it with Apple Mac Mini + 1tb HD, via USB into Bel Canto DAC3.
Sure the CD3MkII was one awesome CD player and I loved it.
But...no regrets. So far so very good.

Any Iphone users out there?

The Iphone can now be used as a remote for your Itunes library. Now, you don't even need to use your computer or complicated "music server" system to pick your music. You can do it with your finger on your phone.

Yes. Works great. Plus it works with my Sonos system.

Not now, but when 1TB Solid state drives start selling for $100-$150...then maybe, but will still have a SACD/CD player.
