@lewm I haven't kept up with it, being retired now, but I think Pradax is C/I in patients with prosthetic valves, but not in patients with AF (at least not here). |

It reads, PRADAXA (dabigatran etexilate) is indicated for the: prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with atrial fibrillation, in whom anticoagulation is appropriate Were you perhaps thinking of this? Concomitant use of PRADAXA with an antithrombotic is not recommended for prevention of cardiogenic thromboembolic stroke in AF patients. |
