After reading up on the Space Tech Lab Super Rectifiers I took the plunge and ordered the Str-104. Scheduled to arrive next week. After many emails to the owner Al he was very helpful steering me into the model that best suits my needs. I needed the flexibility to use it on a 20W amp, a 8W amp or a preamp. His DAC’s have caught my attention as well🤔. Good reviews and recommendations on other forums as well for all his products.
Space Tech Lab super rectifier
I had a chance to listen to this and was extremely impressed for those who also may be curious like I was. I'm not sure how these devices can do this but I can certainly hear the differences, it's not subtle.
Happy listening,

Not sure what the issue with this excellent product is? I have the model just below the top of the line model and I can unequivocally state that this device works superbly rendering a wider deeper soundstage, greater air and just more dynamic realism. My system is highly revealing and for sure tweaked out. |
"What is the problem guys? Are manufacturers doing this on purpose so we constantly want to upgrade? Something wrong here." Reminds me of a TIcTock or YouTube short. I smell GIMMICK/hype of just doing a rectifier tube swap? Perhaps someone with LEGIT tube audio electronics experience can provide some insight- Ralph/Atmasphere?

@tablejockey it's not just a rectifier tube swap, it's like having a separate power supply. The B+ is supplied by the super rectifier and the equipment you use it with supplies the filament voltage for the signal tubes. |
