DIY Nordost banana speaker cable replacement?

Anyone successful at replacing a Nordost  banana speaker connector?

Mine is completely severed  at the middle of probe.

Shoved the broken piece into the remaining  end, and able to enjoy uninterrupted listening.

Appears straightforward- remove at solder point/replace with new connector?

What brand of banana connector does Nordost use?

I've replaced Nordost phono cable RCA's, but these speaker cables(Heimdall) appear to be a little  more involved?

Wouldn’t Nordost re-terminate those? Or sell you the 🍌 plug at least?

Looks like it is not as easy as this, checking Nordost's return policy:

"All returns of Nordost products must go through the dealer through which the original purchase was made"

Definitely not as friendly as returning product from other smaller manufacturers, and definitely a disadvantage of buying from a larger volume manufacturer.

Mine is completely severed  at the middle of probe.

OMG, sorry to hear.

Considering the cable’s price, it came with free lifetime return shipping and fixes/warranty (hopefully)? The fixed cable also comes with some consolation cake, candy and flowers (hopefully)?

If not, just get the Chinese Nordost from aliexpress for 80 bucks.
