Linear Power Supply

I have a Sonore Optical Rendu with the base SGC power supply. I’m considering upgrading to the Sonore power supply, but I have no experience on how much power supplies make a difference. I have a pretty revealing system and I have definitely heard changes with many small tweaks.

So how much do these power suppliers make, and are there other options I should consider?

An update is that I am trying out the Sonore power supply and my first impression is that it definitely is an improvement. I can easily A/B the Sonore streamer set-up now (Ultra Rendu, Cardas and Shunyata cables) with a direct standard Ethernet cable to my Weiss built in Roon streamer. A huge difference, with Somore set-up feeling (to use a cliche) like a vail has been lifted off.
