IsoAcoustics Gaia feet with carpet disks

I have a pair of Sonus faber Olympica Nova IIIs with their standard spikes that sit on a carpet and pad that overlays a concrete floor.

Are IsoAcoustics Gaia feet with carpet disks likely to result in better sound in any respect?

Bass tightening is one more aspect, along with sound stage and imaging, as mentioned, wit the carpet disks.

I originally installed my Gaias with the carpet cups/spikes - the cups/spikes are a real pain to get set correctly. That said it was worth it for the improvements that others have outlined above.

Eventually, I tried the Gaias without the carpet cups/spikes and there was no loss of the distinct benefits that the Gaias brought to the show. My view is now that the carpet cups/spikes are completely unecessary.

This was carpet over a suspended wooden floor. Others may have different experiences.

I have been using the Gaia II footers on my Qualio IQ speakers for a couple of months now. I noticed the improvement immediately when installing them. I just ordered the carpet spikes from Crutchfield this morning and will have them tomorrow. I hope to hear some benefits with these.

If you really want to make a big improvement in the sound of your speakers get the Townshend podiums, everyone on the audiogon forum that has tried both has said that the ISO acoustic Gaia were very good but that the Townshend podiums were on a whole different level better they isolate vibration down to three hertz so it doesn't go into the floor and back into the speakers and your equipment and also it gets rid of the vibrations in the side walls as well, biggest improvement I've ever done to my system, It's as if I had upgraded to more expensive electronics, they're double the price of the ISO acoustic Gaia but much better and well worth it.

I have had a very pleasing experience with my Gaia IIIs plus the carpet spikes. My Revel Studios are a bit top heavy, and they sit on fairly thick carpeting which covers acoustical rubber flooring. The extra spikes under each cup provides true suspension but also much greater stability as well. The sonic improvement in clarity and dimensionality speak for themselves.
