Quincy Jones has passed away

There is an excellent documentary of his life on Netflix called "Quincy." Well worth watching.

Regarding Peggy Lipton, you are correct.  I should have read the date on her obit.

Jones called himself the Ghetto Gump. Read the GQ interview I linked above and see how he connects himself from Hitler to Michael Jackson. An incredible life story and more impressive than the fictional Forrest Gump.

It seems to me he did not know Jackson was doing what he was doing. At least based on his comment on Jackson in the GQ article. I had a family member in the court room in Santa Maria, CA for Jackson's last trial and this person gave me some interesting observations about Jackson. Which I will not repeat here. 

@onhwy61 - many of us also were fans of Peggy Lipton through her role as Norma Jennings on 3 seasons of 'Twin Peaks'; brilliant actress. 

I shall miss Quincy Jones.... 

Audiophiles should appreciate the sound quality that went into so many of his productions.
