Yeah back in the 80s there stuff look good and they had receivers that put out way over 100 wpc at crazy good prices.

A Grommes PHI-26. A 2/6 watt EL-84 tube amp
The best is a Decware Mini Torii a 4 watt tube amp dual mono with 6V6 tubes. It can use a whole variety of different tubes.
The sound is amazing rich and in a 20x12 ft room open on the long sides I easily get 75db from 15 feet away

@grinnell Sweet. Mr. Decker is about 90 minutes north of me; I auditioned some of his amps a few years back and may go there again. Before the Schiit I ran a Line Magnetic 519 which I think was a bit too much. Thanks for the recommendations. |
