Anyone else having trouble with Roon?

I signed up for Roon's Black Friday special for new members. For some reason, in two weeks, Roon has only synched about 7 out of my many Qobuz playlists. It adds another playlist randomly every 3 or 4 days. I've tried all of the suggestions from their tech support, but nothing helps. I'm wondering if their servers are overloaded from all the Black Friday sign-ups (the deal is 3 months for $15, so I'm sure they got a lot of action). Since Roon doesn't work for me though, the deal is worthless. BTW, I am accessing Roon on a Macbook Air and running through a Node via wifi. My digital system works fine unless I am on Roon. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have had no issues with Roon, but I have had my subscription for a few years. I would look into your network and see if it is through-putting at the speeds you are paying for.

Glad to report that soon after I posted my Roon issue to Audiogon, my playlists magically appeared, all synched. I didn’t do anything but log in. The equalizer function (Muse) doesn't work, but this is definitely progress.

The user sync from Qobuz to Roon is asynchronous and does not happen immediately. I find it usually syncs within 10 minutes or so normally. Would not surprise me if it takes somewhat longer during peak user periods like on holidays, etc. Just have to be patient. Things you add in qobuz via Roon should take right away normally although if Roon itself is heavily loaded that may take a tad longer than normal as well.

I had a large music library already when I started with Roon and the load from Roon digesting all that for the first time was heavily resource intensive for a few days so some slowness with Roon initially processing a large library for the first time may also slow things down for a bit. Hope that helps.

If you have a problem(s) the Roon Labs Community (Like our fora but well mannered) is a trove for sorting problems big and small. The level of support is world class. Been there myself a time or two.

I've have used Roon with my MacBook Air (both Roon core and library of ripped CDs) for a few years now.  I'm not a techie or engineer.  I found it a bit daunting (and frustrating) at first.  A steep learning curve.  But after a few months, I pretty much got the hang of it.  Now I use it to listen to Tidal and my library almost exclusively.  The leads on new music are first rate.  They can be a rabbit hole, but a good one.

One thing I did learn is not to jump at upgrades when they come out.  When possible wait a few weeks while the dust settles and support response time shortens.  So hang in there.
