Yes @hickamore there are times we all try to solve problems that don’t exist. More often than not it ends up in a mistake. Enjoy the N200. All you need is a good DAC, good USB cable and a nice power cord. |
@audphile1 I concur with your conclusion. A good USB, a good PC and good DAC. This brings a new level of enjoyment. When I get back from FL in the spring I am experimenting with PC's on my DAC or Amp. I can afford one. Snake River Audio has my attention. |
You can always step up to N20 :-) I concur with the advise you received so far, I wouldn’t trade for N10. The newer versions (N150, N200 and N20) are better in terms of perceived detail, low frequency extension and slam. The older generation models had a softer, laid back presentation. I had N10 in my system for over 5 years, loved it until I heard N20. Couldn’t go back to N10, sold it for $4300. |
