Legacy Audio Stuff

Does anyone have any experience with Legacy Audio products? I'm curious because they are made in the city that I have recently moved to.

@jpcmrc "Time is irrelevant in this hobby! I stand by my response!"

Some caps in speaker crossovers age out after 24+ years. Rubber and foam surrounds for the woofer driver cones dries out and becomes hard, brittle, inflexible, and start coming apart. Unfortunately, time is not usually on our side when it comes to old speakers. We either keep on playing them until they self destruct over time -or- its time to splurge for a full speaker rebuild after 24+ years, :)

Happy upcoming 70th Birthday and Happy Listening!

The only thing that is the same between the speakers being discussed and what you have is that they are called Legacy Focus. Other than that, the drivers are all different, the cabinets are different, and the crossovers are different. Not even close to the same speaker.

I'd get dropped in a discussion when searching something online and I'd comment without looking at the date. After a bit I started checking dates on threads b4 posting.
