Experience up-leveling streaming with USB cables?

@luvtubes69 - Thanks for the suggestion. Is there a particular DH Labs USB cable you recommend? 

@jeffreyw - Do you have a preference between the inakustik Reference and Wireworld Platinum Starlight 8 USB? 

@donquichotte - Interesting... and a good reminder that just because something is more expensive doesn't mean it will sound better! Thanks for tips on cable length. 

@fthompson251 - Thank you for suggestion. Would you mind any qualitative impressions of the Front Row USB cable? I'd be curious to hear your thoughts.

@zlone - I knew you were following Mitch's thread and probably curious about how he was going to review the Merason. I felt his perspective jives with what I hear. It seems his Merason Dac1 mkii went fast. 

@bluethinker  In comparison to the AQ Diamond. The Diamond was very transparent and detailed. A bit thin in the midrange but had fast articulate bass. The frontRow Reserve (Audience's best USB Cable) Did everything the AQ did as far as hearing the details but has a far warmer or fuller smoother midrange. The top end has a bit of delicacy to it now, not so edgy and pronounced. It fills in what the AQ was missing. The soundstage is wider and deeper and the bass is even more developed yet articulate and textured. 

A word of warning here: what seems like different performance from USB cables more likely is their compatinility with the Dac‘s USB implementation. Rather than spend $500 or more on trying out cables, buying a Lhy Audio UIP USB processor may be a more successful way to better SQ

I was looking at the UIP as a somewhat affordable upgrade. Just wondering if it would improve the USB implementation between my T&A Dac 200 and Melco N1a h60 server/streamer. Returns to China / HK really not an option. 
I enjoyed a LHY OCK 2 with an Bricasti M3/EtherRegen setup and they make solid products for the money.  Already have a couple of great cables with a Stealth/Platinum 7 and the LHY internal PS is good so just need a nudge in ordering this😀

you own a very good dac and streamer, so not easy to be sure. Since you own the clock and presumably had a benefit from it, I‘d consider it likely an improvement
