Legacy Audio Stuff

The only thing I was pointing out is that they are not the same speaker. This thread is about the original Focus, which by the way I owned at the time this thread was originally active. I didn't really care what others thought of them and did not respond to this thread back then. I really like Legacy speakers, and in fact currently own Aeris with a pair of Metro XD subs. If you're upset by someone trying to tell you to not get worked up about something so trivial, then I don't really know what to say. Maybe you are the one that needs to get a life. 

It always cracks me up when I read negatives about Legacy speakers being bright or hard sounding.  That's the beauty of the internet - it's there forever.  I have owned Legacy for over 25 years now and never has one set of speakers sounded bright.  Honestly, my OG Focus sounded almost dull.  I ended up replacing the soft domes for some better extension and I had inquired with RAAL about custom making a set of ribbons to drop right in.  But thankfully I sold them before dropping all that money with RAAL.  The current Focus SEs are awesome speakers.  Two bass drivers produce deeper, tighter and lower bass than the old three driver models.  Trust me.
