Does VPI ADS work with Basis Gold Debut?

Anybody out there have experience with adding a speed control to a Basis Gold Debut?   Will an ADS (VPI) work with this turntable?   I would like not to have to change the pulley for 45rpm., plus take advantage of more stable speed.  Basis own speed control is beyond what I'm willing to spend, and of course Basis will not answer whether the ADS will operate with their turntable.

@chayro - I closed down operations at the end of 2016 and have no intention of entering the market again.  I believe SOTA is working on resurrecting the Eagle, but I have no idea of the time frame or retail price if or when they decide to do it.

To do speed change properly, as Basis sees it, you cannot split the two phases by simply using a capacitor in the motor; the correct way involves the motor controller delivering two different AC phases to the motor.  That means the motor also has to be re-wired.  When I got the motor controller for my Debut, I had to send the motor to the factory for rewiring.

I’ve owned SDS and ADS. Wasn’t satisfied with either. I installed a Condor motor/ancillaries in my VPI Classic 3 SE. Problem solved.
