@ozzy yet six months ago you were the member who said they secretly crank Mariah Carey and Weird Al Yankovic in their yellow Miata on an empty road. Too bad that thread which included your post was removed. It was one of those posts that was both unexpected and memorable. I never thanked you for your candor and vulnerability - so a belated thank you, good sir.

Edit: don’t be silly @ozzy I found the screenshot. You had a yellow 1998 Miata with pop-up headlights and automatic transmission since stick was “too difficult to learn at my age.”

Some idiots can’t control themselves and have to disparage other’s tastes. Sign of a small mind, and a very small...oh forget it. Nothing changes, IMHO.

Not current but Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five on vinyl through tubes and Quad 57s. One of the most enjoyable and memorable hifi show experiences ever.

Not a fan, but I often wondered if rap or metal really benefits from a high-end sonics.  I usually associate advantages of high-end audio with increased realism/accuracy in voices and acoustic instruments.  Rap seems monotoned but with a beat and metal seems loud with lots of intended distortion in their instruments.
