amplifier from Canada

Does anyone know when the tariffs will begin to affect the prices? Until the US inventory lasts? I was about to pull the trigger on a Canadian made amp, but it may be too late.

Not making any big purchase items in this economic climate, I'll keep it up if need be. Intentionally choosing to not participate in this economy due to bad economic policy decisions may be the most effective thing we can do to protest this insanity.

Prices are not political. Just like facts aren't either. Sane people here who acknowledge facts are not the ones to blame for discussions blowing up

Maybe, just maybe everyone should take notice of current events and dig a little deeper into them before making any major purchases. Earlier today former Social Security head Martin O’ Malley said to start saving your money because all the monkeying around that DOGE is doing has already caused system outages that will become more frequent and will lead to a collapse of the entire system. He thinks it may come as soon as 30 to 90 days.

All hell will break loose if that happens. Doesn’t have to be that way but some would love to see it happen for the money they’ll make. Safe to say that none of them are members here so they won’t have to listen to all the complaining about how members here should just be talking about audio. That would break their hearts.

All the best,

I'd be surprised if the tariffs are in place for more than a couple months. IMHO, it will be painfully obvious by then that they aren't creating the desired results. If anyone see's mass building going on so we can make more things in America due to the tariffs, please let me know. I suspect we're going to lose much more than we gain...

It will be interesting to see The fallout. I am not super excited about it but it is what it is. A lot of companies have stockpiled parts and products. Some also jacked up their prices at the beginning of the year in anticipation.

The two most famous component makers that I know of a Bryston and Emm Labs.
