Any suggestions appreciated. Like how my wire sounds just want a neutral pass through maybe drop noise and relax things, no tone control. Using Straightwire Crescendo 2, speaker wire and interconnects, Straightwire, Clarity Vortex and Von Gaylord legend 7000 power cords in a class a tube amp.

I think cables are options to try and hear for yourself , if you think they make your system better then buy. OP audiogon only give you some informations but the bottom line you will be the one to find out until you connect the components, speakers, and cables  You do a lot of experiments on your own . One lesson I learn ed reading reviews, and audiogon? It did only guide me to some extent. You can start by calling usedcable.com for small fee then return it if you are not happy but you have to wait six days till the cable settle. Many of my audiophile friends were wrong on stopping me to go further on this hobby. Yes I have good success using good cables, some are not fortunate to get result that I have. Go for it try cables .

I’d try this Ice Age PC that gets very good reviews, is well designed/constructed and cryo treated, and they offer free returns (less return shipping).  And at $300 it’s well under your budget.  Best of luck.

Here’s a review FYI…

For the ones who think PCs have no effect on sound.  I recently tried a solid silver Wywire Juice II power cord for my Innuos ZENith Mk3 streamer to try to brighten the sound just a bit since I felt the Audioquest NRG-4 was a tat on the dark side. End result is the Wywire over brightened the sound and made it hard on my ears. Then I thought, since my Jay's cdt2-mk3 could use a little more sparkle, why not use its Cullen Gold series 12 ga copper PC for the Innuos and the silver Wywire on the Jay's. Bingo, it brought both exactly in the middle to where my ears like it best. Of course, these things only happen in a very revealing setup, so I do understand why many never get to notice the changes.

@baylinor nice story, but more details on what pc cable was replaced by “excellent one”! I experienced PC issues more at bass/low-freq., never highs! last thing pc can affect is “brightness” of sound, thus all high frequencies are decoupled from power by capacitors etc..
