logitech touch - tech success...marketing flop?

Would you know which retail stores sell the logitech touch?
Despite all the great reviews, it's amazing it can't be found anywhere except on logitech's own site.
Any advice?

It never fails to amaze me. I found over 92 vendors with one simple search. It is "amazing" that it took so much work to find them on sale in .0035 seconds;>)
I assume the OP means brick & mortar stores when he asks about retailers. For example, my local Best Buy did not carry any Squeezeboxes last time I checked.

I'm pretty sure a quick search would yield that info also.
I've seen Squeezebox radio and otehr Logitech products in BEst Buy but not Touch. Nor in any other local B&M stores I've been in.

My local BB also used to carry the Squeezebox Duet, but stopped that.

Its readily available on line though and typically with some cost savings off retail + local sales tax.

I see Solos and other similar type higher end gadgets in higher end B&M stores. More appeal and better profit margins for them I suspect, especially in a bad economy.

I suspect Touch or its successors down teh road may show up in BB once again. PErhaps just a temporary hole in their offerings in that the Duet did not attain a big following I believe in that its remote was limited and is easily replaced nowadays with better value controller apps running on Smartphones, tablet devices, web browsers, etc.

Touch is a much more cost effective and functional device than its predecessors, I believe.
