Wilco's Sky Blue Sky - Mastered at 1/2 speed by Stan Ricker - best, cleanest sounding rock LP I've ever heard. Wonderful songs, great acoustics, just perfect.

The lead singer is an analog junkie, which helps.
can anyone share their experiences on the ff LPs am thinking of purchasing:

Art Pepper / The Way It Was!

Peter Maag / Mozart: Clarinet Concertos

Curtis Counce / You Get More Bounce With Curtis Counce

Gene Ammons / Blue Gene

Oliver Nelson / The Blues And The Abstract Truth

Neville Marriner / Rodrigo: Concierto de Aranjuez/ Concierto Andaluz

Rosemary Clooney & Duke Ellington / Blue Rose

Ernest Ansermet / de Falla: The Three-Cornered Hat

Would be great if someone can share how the recording is and the content of the music.

Thanks for inputs.
My newest fav is my sealed Benjamin Britten "War Requiem" with:
Simon Rattle/Burlington Phil. Robert Tear, Thomas Allen

A sonic blockbuster, and amazingly a digital LP from 1983.Amazing piece and a great recording.

Wayne Shorter, "Wayning Moments", Jazz Workshop JW-010

and another spectacular reissue on Blue Note:
Cannonball Adderley, "Somethin' Else", Blue Note 1595

Enjoy!
