Albertporter only needs 50

Hey Audiogoners,

Albertporter has made a great offer to coordinate the bulk purchase of cryoed Hubbel outlets. My feeling if it's good enough for Albert's system, it's good enough for mine. I spoke with Albert earlier today and he is willing to arrange for the purchase of the outlets in Dallas, have them treated and then probably ship them out Fedex ground. Albert would be doing us all a favor and his only interest is in helping the audio community. Let him know how many you are interested in. I'm in for six (6).

Lak, 30 days is a long time to listen to "VERY HARSH". I don't have and none of my audiophile buddies have a cooker. Any sugestions? I could hook them up somewhere else I guess and plug something into them?

Maxgain: Do a lot of vacuuming of the house. In my case, it'll earn a lot of points with my wife too! Just can't let her see the extension cords when I'm vacuuming upstairs from the downstairs outlet!

good thinking, Rprince. I have hardwood everywhere but in the listening room so most of it only gets dusted, so....hum? Maxgain leaves and comes back with the stainless steel Waring pro bar blender. Hum? lets see how much Hornitos will I need? Gotta run, need some limes!

Sean had a post a while ago that talked about how to make a homemade cable cooker. If you can't find it by doing a search, email him.
No offense meant to anyone on this post (or site) but that’s why I chose to purchase a Hubbell from someone who has put three months or more researching the best receptacle, the best method of cryogenic processing/temperature/number of hours, etc. That’s not to mention beta-testing with 5 individuals including 3 reviewers who already owned other cryogenically treated outlets. Finally, he cooks them on a cable cooker for four days.
For that magic recipe I don’t mind paying a little more, knowing that what I have is the real thing and not a product that might not work to 100% of its ability. The only reason I point this out is because I have done a lot of A/B testing and blind testing and believe one’s best intentions could possibly provide a cryogenically treated outlet that sounds harsh for 30 days or is less than what it could have been depending on how it’s cryogenically treated and broken in.
