Furniture-grade cd storage

Metal and/or plastic like Boltz don't suit - I'm a wood kind of guy. Minimum 300 capacity, 500 preferred. Willing to pay up for good quality. Three weeks of searching the web and haven't found anything that I really like. Save me from simply having to settle.

Bombay Furniture Company offers a cabinet called the Harlequin (??) that has doors with storage and inner shelves. I bought two adn they hold my 1000+ colection. They are only about $250 each, also.

Sorice in Perkasie, PA. makes very nice solid hardwood CD cabinets in various sizes, woods, and configurations. I have two of their 300 CD units in oak that are very well made-- with smoked glass doors, and glass shelves. But there are other options. With shipping to Oregon, I think I paid about $290. for each. I like them a lot and intend to get another.

I had an extraordinary unit made of cherry, purplehart and walnut by a cabinet maker. It has architectural details and holds just short of 1000 cds. It costs like furniture and it looks like fine furniture. If anyone is interested in another idea in this area, write me and I'll email a picture to you.
