recipe for seasoning power cords

Readster belongs to the Butch Cassidy school of thought. (From the movie- Butch Cassdy and the Sundance Kid. Sundance-"Well Butch, Ya think ya used enough dynamite?" This is after they both watch half a train mail car disintegrate into small pieces.) Great Movie!

i'm just being silly, i don't know if i really buy the burning in of the power cord, or maybe my ears aren't good enough to hear the difference, but if you all can, then i can't argue with that.

Addendum to my first post: The owner of Elrod Power cords said nothing about an open frige door. He said leave the power cord in-line for 3-4 weeks on a freezer, but he said, a refrigerator would probably work well too. This is the first I've heard about leaving the door open. I guess it won't hurt the cord, I don't know about the frige.
