I have a 1988 1 Ton duelly Toyota with a service body. I've had it for 20 years and drive it back and forth to work. But my weekend ride is a 2005 Black on Black BMW M3 Coup with a Competition package. I upgraded the suspension to a Dinan JRZ Stage 3,replaced the stock exhaust with a Magnaflow kit back to the cats. Sounds great....it always comes back to the sound!
Cars. What does the typical audiophile drive?
Just curious. People have asked about watches,
cigars, beer, and even ones income here.
1: What do you drive (daily & weekends)?
2: What might you be driving in the future?
3: What would you drive if $$$ was no object (pick 2 ;-)?
My answers to the above:
1: Toyota truck.
2: Newer Toyota truck.
3: Lamborghini Murcielago & McLaren F1.

OK, my Caddie got wrecked a few months back so I bought a different daily driver. So besides the modded out Mustang I am driving an '09 Ford Edge to and from work. I wanted to buy another domestic car so I went with this Dad-mobile. Comfy, good gas mileage, and Ford/Microsoft Sync system actually works and is very cool. Not exciting or sexy, but I really like it. |
A Formula Mazda race car sponsored by TARA Labs, Focal, Aesthetix Audio, Audio Unlimited, IT Liquidators and others. The team and car can be seen at QuantSPEED Racing. This car has also been in several magazines, on TV, in various blogs, at the Denver Auto Show in the Mazda booth, at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, and will be at the Denver Good Life Expo helping to draw attention to high-end audio. When I saw that this thread that I posted in years ago was still alive, I couldn't resist posting this. |
