My wife passed yesterday

I just wanted to share with my Audiogon brothers that my wife of 20 years passed on 10/25/14 from a heart attack. She loved good audio and good music and she supported me in my hobby at every turn. I haven't been able to listen to any music since her death, but I hope I will find comfort in it going forward. She never at any time criticized me for spending so much on audio and she always thought I should have what I liked. She was a rare individual and she will be missed by many people.

I can only imagine how hard it must be for you. All the best in dealing with this loss. You were a very lucky fellow i have to say if she did not criticize you for indulging in audio - rare are such wives. it could have been a lot worse with her nagging you about every $ you spent on audio. Think of the good times you spent with her - it will probably lighten your load & maybe even make you smile........

Although in some ways this is very personal for you, many others are there for you if and when you need them. Don't be reluctant to ask- even if it means just to share a meal, a movie or a walk. My thoughts are with you.

I can't imagine losing my sweet, darling, best friend even if she has confined my rig to the basement! I hope you find solace in the music.
