Tube substitute in Jolida 302b. 12AU7 for 12AT7?

Can I substitute the 12AT7 with an Ei 12AU7 in the Jolida 302b?

BUT I substituted the stock 12AT7s with current matched (within the dual triode) Mullard 12AT7s and the sound improved. Also swap out the stock Chinese 12AX7s for Tung-Sols and you will be amazed at the improvement.
