Just got the new Roy Hargrove - Earfood disk a couple of days ago. This one should be on anyone's list of top disks for the year.

Bob
Terence Blanchard - "A Tale of God's Will"
Christian Scott - "Live at Newport"

Not Jazz, but I have to Mention it - Klaus Schulze and Lisa Gerrard - "Farscape"
"The Art and Soul of Houston Person" is my pick.

A 3-CD set with lots of standards (Porter, Kern, Ellington, Rodgers et al), well played and exceptionally well recorded.
Christian Mcbride - Live at Tonic
Kenny Garret-sketches in MD
Roy hargrove- earfood
Mccoy Tyner - Guitars
Brad Mehldau - Live
Charles Lloyd
Bill Frisell- history mystery
Orchestra Baobab- Made in Dakar- world music 'jazz'
I'll add a cheer for Roy Hargrove. Just picked it up last night. Great CD. Great bass, soundstaging and music. Can't go wrong here.
