PS Direct Stream Vs. Lumin X 1 Sound quality difference?
I would guess the X1 would be the winner. Correct me if I am wrong, down the road if some, new magical DAC is released, you can keep using the x1 as a streamer and feed the new dac...correct?
Waht is the best streamer for the money under $2500 (no DAC or storage required).

I read a couple years back that the Node 2 sounds the same as the NAD (same company owns) streamer.
Forever turntable under $2000

If you have DSD files that you will be accessing thru streamer (nas storage, etc), just know the Bluesound does not support. If non DSD, the Node is great for the money. I no longer have mine because I have all my SACDs ripped.
New Yamaha A-S3200 Integrated Amp ?.
I'm actually thinking of going integrated. The Yamaha checks all the boxes for me. Meters (I love meters), tone controls, balanced inputs and outputs. I'm not really interested in an onboard phono...however...nice it's there
PS Audio BHK owners
I have the BHK pre and Firstwatt J2 (very low gain). I'm usually listening at 50+ on the meter. Last night I was cranking Moving Pictures and had the sucker at 80....amazing sound...clear as a bell
New Yamaha A-S3200 Integrated Amp ?.
Stereophile just did one. I'll have to read it again...I didn't get the feeling that Jason Victor Serinus was thrilled with it.
Benchmark LA4 Preamp?
I've read numerous reviews in forums, etc that The HPA4 is quiet as a mouse and gets out of the way
Benchmark LA4 Preamp?
Nice review of the Benchmark in the latest Absolute Sound
Smoothest and best sounding turntable/cartridge combo up to $1600??
Get a Technics 1200/1210 GR and a Ortofon RED. Then upgrade the cartridge as you get funds. The Technics will last a lifetime
PS Audio BHK lacking..
Also check the tube voltage thing switch inside (see owners manual). Make sure they match the voltage of the tube that's is installed.
PRIMA LUNA AMPLIFIERS
johnto---I agree. If you got the cash, Japan makes some great components as well.
Primaluna EVO 400 vs. stock Cary SLP-05 preamp?
Good choice imo.
