I loved the Mcferrin CD. It is currently on loan to a friend. It is my unofficial biography.
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC?
They sound more similar than different. The 160ML is a more solid, bolder sound, with the 155lc having a more delicate, intricate sound, but the difference is not huge.

Dlcockrum, I have tried the ML160 on the Signet body. It sounds very good. The 155lc sounds closer to the TK-7lca, IMO, from memory.Buy both! I don't think you will regret it. ;)

World's Greatest Tenors
Thanks guys, Picked up Burnin and Night Letter today. Need to clean them. I think I saw McDuff and a Gene Ammon's with Stitt. I will go back tomorrow.
World's Greatest Tenors
Looking through my collection it seems I am short on Sonny Stitt recordings. Any recommendations?

Bob Stewart is a Professor at Julliard. He played Tuba with Mingus for a while. It may not be to your'e liking, but he is great. If Christian Scott did what you say, he would sound OLD school. Something NO young man wants to happen. I like his Band...
